Wind Tor and Widecombe Village Circular Walk
A walk we often do with the children is a 2 hour, circular walk up to the moor and round to the village, where we will stop at one of food stops for something to eat, maybe a wonder around the village, then walk the road home. Click here for the directions and a map.
Widecombe Walk
You can make this walk shorter by starting in the village rather than from the campsite itself.
Buckland Beacon and the Ten Commandments Stones
Head up the other side of the valley towards Buckland Beacon. There is a car park at Cold East Cross to visit if you would like a shorter walk.
We do have walking books and maps available to purchase or browse in the self serve shop.
